**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION**:
**The primary duties and responsibilities are as follows. Other duties may be assigned**:

- Execute the upkeep and the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of process tools in a semiconductor cleanroom, including but not limited to thermal evaporators and packaging tools (e.g., encapsulation and wire bonding)
- Maintain and record equipment status.
- Maintain a safe work area; comply with safety policies and procedures and equipment operating rules; keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Chemical disposal following cleanroom protocols.
- Run equipment calibration process (using SOP), and report anomalies and defects before and after each process step.
- Document SOPs, routine inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct device testing, including but not limited to electrical tests and imaging tests.
- Ability to work on flexible schedule and additional hours if needed.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent degree in Material Science, Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience as a semiconductor process technician with a good understanding of processing tools and maintenance.
- Clear verbal and written communication, time management, and self-organization skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and work with mínimal supervision.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and proprietary information.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Laboratory: 1 year (preferred)
