**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree required (in a health related discipline, Business or Industrial Engineering)
- Two years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting and/or in a formal Quality Improvement Role and/or active involvement in leading Quality Improvement initiatives at the corporate level
- Improvement Advisor certification through the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), certification in Lean and/or related quality improvement methodology (eg. Six Sigma). Project Management certificate
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with chart audits, performance measurement, data reporting and analysis
- Expertise in, Quality Improvement tools (eg. process mapping/flow diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, pareto charts, creativity methods, affinity diagrams, force field analysis, tree diagram, FMEA, etc.) and the IHI Model for Improvement
- Knowledge of patient safety, risk management principles and strategies
- Working knowledge of electronic incident management systems (e.g. RiskPro)
- Evidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, leadership, judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Working knowledge of and Quality Improvement software (eg. MS Visio)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Access.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and with a variety of levels of staff across departments and the organization
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required
