**Salary Range**: $50,000 to $60,000

**Who are we? **CheckingIn is a wellness and reconnection tool for Indigenous communities. We offer a safe space for community members to root deeper within themselves and their community. We create content with, and for communities that focuses on revitalization of culture, language, stories and much more.

The ta skwalwentn community coordinator, will be responsible for working with both the Squamish Nation team and the CheckingIn team to create content for the community. They will work with the Nation to build a monthly content schedule; then plan, organize and execute it. Including reaching out to community members, planning filming days and uploading final content onto the app.

This person will be required to attend in person events each month. As a result there will be some times where they will need to work in the evenings and weekends. This will be determined in advance to get sufficient notice for planning.

We are seeking a passionate and warm individual who is driven, organized, and connected within the community.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Weekly Meetings: Participate in and lead weekly meetings with the Squamish team
- Content Planning: Create monthly content plan with the team
- Production: Plan & coordinate filming days
- Content Management: Upload videos and manage the admin portal of the app
- Event Participation: Attend and manage in-person events

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Comfortable using technology and content management systems
- Self-starter, capable of working independently and as a part of a team
- Strong connection and familiarity with Indigenous communities, particularly the Squamish Nation
