Project Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning: You will be responsible for creating and implementing project plans that include timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. You will also need to coordinate with various stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that the project is planned effectively.
- Resource management: You will need to manage resources such as labor, materials, and equipment to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively. This may involve scheduling deliveries, coordinating with suppliers, and managing subcontractors.
- Communication: You will need to maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders involved in the project. This may include regular progress updates, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Managing construction crews: you are responsible for managing the construction crew and ensuring that everyone is working effectively and safely. They may also hire and train new employees as needed.
- Safety: you are responsible for ensuring that the construction site is safe and that all workers are following safety protocols. They must identify and address any safety hazards that arise.
- Quality control: You will be responsible for ensuring that the work being done on the project meets the required quality standards. This may involve inspecting work sites, reviewing plans and specifications, and coordinating inspections with regulatory agencies.
- Risk management: You will need to identify and manage risks associated with the project, such as safety hazards or potential delays. This may involve developing contingency plans and working with stakeholders to minimize risks.
- Documentation: You will need to maintain accurate records of project progress, including budgets, timelines, and communication with stakeholders. This documentation will be used for reporting to management and may also be required for regulatory compliance purposes.
- Project closeout: You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed, all contracts are closed, and all necessary documentation is completed before the project is officially closed out.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 1 year (preferred)
