Restaurant Supervisor

The Restaurant Supervisor position is responsible for supervising team member activities during shifts to ensure that standards around people, products, cleanliness, and exceptional guest experience are met. You will be accountable for hands-on training of current and new team members, while also assisting the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager with day-to-day store operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct in-person, one-on-one performance appraisals with every trainee or new hire upon completion of training modules to improve retention and provide opportunities for team member growth.
- Lead by example in delivering consistent and outstanding guest service through a friendly attitude, attentive behavior, and strong product knowledge.
- Maintain speed of service targets by working efficiently to fill orders and meet guests' needs while training new team members to work effectively with a sense of urgency.
- Work alongside the Assistant Manager and Store Manager to address underperforming team members.
- Follow and train proper procedures to ensure the accuracy of every order for every guest, e.g. repeating guests' orders when presented to them, using H.O.T.R.O.D.S. at the drive-thru, marking hot beverage lids, and preparing and finishing products to meet quality standards.
- Be able to work various shifts and remain available and on-call 24/7 to provide the appropriate training to all team members during their assigned schedules.
- Complete and file proper documentation verifying team member training on each job task.
- Ensure trainee completion of AF TIMS training program and provide feedback regarding trainee to Store Manager or Restaurant Owner.
- Stay up-to-date with new procedures/equipment/products being introduced and train all team members when required.
- Attend training sessions at Restaurant Owner's request.
- Identify opportunities for additional training that could improve speed of service in the restaurant.
- Support a clean environment that is ready for rush periods and time-sensitive requests through regular clean up, organization, and stocking of the restaurant front and kitchen when necessary.
**Physical Demands**:
- Walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 20 kg / 45 lbs.
- Be able to help as needed in receiving large deliveries up to twice a week.
- Be able to transition between cold (e.g. freezer) and hot (e.g. oven) working environments.
- Be able to work under pressure in a high-paced environment adhering to tight deadlines.
**Availability**:
Must be flexible as your work schedule may vary week to week based on business needs while fostering a fair work/life balance. _Monthly schedules may require some afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts._
**Requirements**:
- Customer service background (preferred).
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Previous experience in Quick Service an asset.
- Friendly and outgoing.
- Flexible schedule.
- Previous Tim Horton's experience (required).
- Previous management experience (preferred).
- Previous experience as Supervisor will be an asset to this role.
