**Recruitment Coordinator - Competition 2024-040**

**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate full cycle recruitment and selection processes using the prescribed HRIS system.
- Create job postings and job descriptions.
- Schedule multiple interviews and meetings with hiring managers and selection committee from different departments.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of new employees.
- Assist with new hire orientation as required.
- Build relationships with First Nation people and organizations to ensure the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs is recognized and represented.
- Participate in career fairs in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**Education/Experience**
- Certificate in Human Resource Management from a recognized post-secondary institution. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in a human resource environment performing full cycle recruitment and other human resource functions.
- Strong sourcing skills and the ability to head hunt is considered an asset.
- Experience using a HRIS system; experience using BambooHR considered an asset.
- Experience working in Human Resources with First Nations or First Nations organizations in Manitoba or other regions.
- Knowledge of traditional First Nation philosophy and contemporary practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs and/or other First Nation organizations in Manitoba.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have a current satisfactory Criminal Record Check, and Clear Child Abuse Checks.
