**The Role**:
The Project Manager is responsible for contributing and adhering to construction timelines, drive deficiency clean-up of checklists and supporting the development of our communities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support assigned Project Manager(s) in the production of homes from backfill to closing
- Manage various stages of production in new home construction
- Review and maintain working drawings, specifications, scopes, construction details, and sales details
- Complete checklists including: Builder Frame Checklist, 1st Handy, 2nd Handy, Builder Punchout Checklists, Move-in Ready, Predelivery Inspections
- Manage the lot schedule and trade management
- Ensure Caivan’s quality standards and Caivan Performance guidelines are maintained and perform daily quality checks on production homes
- Support the Project Manager(s) with preparation of city inspections
- Conduct site tours, safety inspections and lead by example to ensure policies, procedures and standards are adhered to
- Report any day-to-day problems on the job site (as they arise) to the Project Manager(s)
- Contribute to overall site cleanup and cleanliness
- Build and maintain relationships with trade partners
- Perform other duties as required.

**You will bring**:

- Post-secondary education in construction, project management or related field
- 2-5 years’ experience in low rise construction in a similar role
- Ability to plan and manage to a project schedule
- Ability to assist with supporting construction teams, monitoring progress, providing reports and assisting in ensuring compliance to our safety policies and regulatory requirements;
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, and other related management software
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Sense of urgency: ability to efficiently meet project deadlines
- Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Be prepared to attend internal weekly meetings held by management
- Ability to follow direction
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and fully comprehend construction drawings
- Must have good time management, multitasking, and stress management skills to be able to ensure that tasks get completed on time
- Valid Driver’s License
