Office Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
- Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
- Enter invoices into sage accounting software and file accordingly
- Prepare purchase orders for review and subsequent submission to vendors
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Provide support to construction operations by assisting with admin tasks, making phone calls to new suppliers and existing suppliers for follow up
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
- Use computers and various software, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and Sage Accounting
Qualifications:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Previous experience and/or understanding of construction industry considered an asset
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
