The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure's mission is to contribute to New Brunswick's economy and quality of life by providing and supporting sustainable infrastructure that allows for the safe and efficient movement of people, goods and government services to the public. Not only is the department responsible for managing over 18,000 kilometers of provincial highways, it also manages the planning, design and construction of hospitals, schools and other government buildings.

**What you will do?**

Reporting to the Director of Operations of the Facilities Management Unit, the Regional Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination of activities related to the operation and maintenance of all provincially owned buildings and facilities in the Charlotte County Region. Main responsibilities include:

- Overseeing the daily operation & maintenance of the water supply distribution and wastewater collection/treatment at the Champlain Industrial Park;
- Planning, managing, scheduling, and organizing building maintenance projects;
- Developing capital project lists to identify infrastructure requirements;
- Managing energy consumption;
- Managing building maintenance programs;
- Issuing maintenance service contracts;
- Supervising departmental staff;
**Work environment**:

- Office location: Champlain Industrial Park, 100 Champlain Drive, Saint Andrews
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday
- We promote a scent-reduced environment.
- Some travel within the Province will be required.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Diploma from a recognized two (2) year post-secondary engineering technology program in the mechanical, and/or electrical field with a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible related work experience OR a one (1) year technical program in a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible related work experience.
- Level 1 certification of both Water Distribution and Wastewater Treatment.
- Experience must include a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.
- A valid class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

**Asset Qualifications**:
