**Research Development Facilitator, Development and Technology**

**What you’ll do**
- Align proposals with strategic goals and priorities by performing background research to customize proposals to address granting agency mandates.
- Provide critical review and substantive revision of research grant proposals, major projects, and faculty salary grants within tight deadlines.
- Provide logístical support for large-scale institutional infrastructure proposals multi-investigator and multi-institutional teams and research partnerships with industry, community and government agencies.
**What you bring**
**Qualifications**:
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in Sciences, Social Science, Health Sciences or a related field. Requires (5) to (7) years of experience in a health research environment with a background in research project management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. With good understanding of research facilitation, project management, ethics, and knowledge mobilization.
You will also have
- Ability to develop and manage new programs and services including research planning, grant review and educational programs.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems creatively, efficiently and resourcefully.
- Ability to work independently, and multitask a range of complex projects to meet the required deadlines.
- Leadership competencies include acting with integrity and trust; building a team environment; communicating clearly; fostering potential; building partnerships and working collaboratively with diverse levels of staff and management internally and externally; managing resources; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
- Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).
