Job Summary:
The Shuttle Driver operates a vehicle for the loading and delivery of products from a processing facility to Service Centers or Depots, loading product there and returning back to the processing facility on the same shift, with possible multiple trips in a shift. Reports to Service supervision.

Essential Functions:

- Load and unload product on the shuttle vehicle in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
- Verify product requirements for each trip, secure products and shuttle vehicle, pick up and/or deliver office security bags, and fill out paperwork accurately.
- Safely operate the shuttle vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy.
- Follow instructions and perform other related tasks as directed by supervision.

Additional Functions:

- May occasionally work with and support other service personnel as required by supervision.

Qualifications:

- Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and be 21 years of age or older.
- Have and maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding or safety -violations.
- Demonstrate excellent skills in the operation of commercial vehicles and have a verifiable minimum one year experience of safe and successful commercial driving.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction and good time management skills.
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately.

Typical Environmental Conditions:

- Inside a commercial vehicle, inside and outside loading areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center or depot.

Travel Requirements:

- Every shift by commercial vehicle

**Education**:
High School graduation or similar experience.

Typical Physical Activity:

- Physical Demands consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching overhead, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Physical requirements consist of being able to perform the physical demands during shift.

Relève du superviseur du service.

Fonctions principales:

- Charge et décharge les produits sur la navette de façon sécuritaire, rapide et précise.
- Vérifie les exigences relatives aux produits pour chaque déplacement, sécurise les produits et la navette, ramasse ou livre les sacs de sécurité du bureau et remplit les documents avec précision.
- Conduit la navette de façon sécuritaire, en respectant toutes les lois et les politiques de l’entreprise applicables.
- Suit les instructions et effectue d’autres tâches connexes selon les directives de la supervision.

Fonctions additionnelles:

- Peut travailler occasionnellement avec d’autres membres du personnel du service selon les exigences de la supervision.
Compétences:

- Détient et conserve un permis de conduire valide et a 21 ans ou plus.
- Détient et conserve un dossier de conduite exempt d’accidents, d’excès de vitesse, ou d’infractions relatives à la sécurité.
- Fait preuve d’excellentes compétences dans l’opération des véhicules commerciaux et possède au moins un an d’expérience de conduite commerciale sécuritaire et réussie.
- Bonnes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite en anglais, capacité à comprendre et à suivre les directives, ainsi que de bonnes aptitudes pour la gestion du temps.
- Reconnaît les couleurs, les tailles et les types de produits et compte, additionne et soustrait avec précision.

Conditions environnementales typiques:

- À intérieur d’un véhicule commercial et à l’extérieur des zones de chargement d’une installation de buanderie industrielle typique, d’un centre de service ou d’un dépôt.

Exigences relatives aux déplacements:

- Chaque quart de travail par véhicule commercial
Éducation:
Diplôme d’études secondaires ou expérience similaire.

Activité physique reliée à l’emploi:

- Les exigences physiques consistent à se tenir debout, à s’asseoir, à marcher, à s’accroupir, tendre les bras au-dessus de la tête, à conduire, à saisir, à déplacer de l’équipement, à pousser, à tirer, à lire, à parler, à écouter et à soulever des poids de 75 lb maximum.
- Les exigences physiques consistent à être en mesure de répondre aux exigences physiques pendant tout le quart de travail.
