As an **E-Commerce Chat Representative** at **Waterdown Auto Parts**, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch customer service to our online shoppers. You will engage with customers in real-time through our online chat platform, providing assistance, product information, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Your communication skills, product knowledge, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to customer inquiries, product questions, and assistance requests through online chat in a timely and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate information about automotive parts compatibility, pricing, availability, and promotions.
- Assist customers with navigating our e-commerce website, locating products, and completing online orders.
- Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and technical issues related to the website or products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to improving our online shopping experience.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings, policies, and procedures.
- Strive to meet and exceed individual and team performance metrics for response time, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college education is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or online support role.
- Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proficiency in typing and multitasking while engaging in live chat interactions.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is advantageous.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and website navigation.
- Ability to remain composed and customer-focused in fast-paced and challenging situations.
- A positive attitude, empathetic approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $19.85 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
