D Spot, known for our unique and decadent desserts, is seeking a dynamic Director of Construction to lead the charge in bringing our new locations to life. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with a major restaurant chain and are passionate about creating spaces that delight and inspire, this opportunity is for you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead the Dream**: Oversee the entire construction process for new D Spot locations, from blueprint to grand opening, ensuring every detail reflects our brand's high standards and innovative spirit.
- **Collaborate with the Best**: Work closely with top-tier architects, engineers, and contractors to turn our creative concepts into reality, ensuring that every new location is a perfect blend of function and flair.
- **Manage with Precision**: Take charge of project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring that each project is delivered on time and within budget, without compromising on quality.
- **Liaise with Franchisees**: Serve as the key point of contact for franchisees, guiding them through the construction process and ensuring their vision aligns with D Spot’s brand standards.
- **Navigate Regulations**: Oversee the acquisition of all necessary permits and approvals, including local municipality, provincial, and federal permits, to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- **Ensure Excellence**: Conduct regular site visits to guarantee that all construction meets local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as D Spot’s stringent quality and safety standards.
- **Build Relationships**: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams, fostering a collaborative environment that drives project success.
- **Champion the Brand**: Work hand-in-hand with our operations and marketing teams to ensure that every new D Spot location not only meets but exceeds our customers' expectations from day one.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience that Counts**: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing the construction of restaurant locations for a major chain.
- **Educational Background**: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- **Proven Success**: A track record of managing large-scale, high-quality construction projects from start to finish.
- **In-Depth Knowledge**: Expertise in Canadian construction regulations, including the acquisition of necessary municipal, provincial, and federal permits.
- **Leadership and Vision**: Exceptional project management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive projects forward.
- **On the Go**: Willingness to travel across Canada to ensure the success of each new D Spot location.

**What We Offer**:

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
