The Demonstration Artist and Training Specialist is responsible for performing training of Ross products, solutions, and integration at client locations globally. This front-line individual is responsible for managing customer expectations, completing required documentation, providing end user operational training, and ensuring integrity of the training experience. This key individual works closely with our Sales and Demonstration Artist Team to ensure delivery of the Ross Superior Customer Experience.

This role is a home-based position.

**What the job is all about**:

- On-site, off-site and online/remote customer demonstrations
- Ensure integrity of the demo experience and provides feedback and input re: areas for improvement
- Maintain demo equipment, assists with set-up and prepares/tests gear prior to demos
- Reports back to the Sales and Marketing Product Management (MPM) groups regarding current industry trends and customer feedback
- Maintain above average knowledge base and skill set in the functionality and demonstration of all system features for OverDrive
- Provide demonstrations of Ross Video Switchers
- Perform customer training - on-site, off-site and online/remote customer training sessions
- Maintain integrity of the training experience and provides feedback and input re: areas for improvement
- Maintain training equipment, assists with set-up and prepares/tests gear prior to training sessions
- Help develop OverDrive customer training methods, materials and techniques working in collaboration with the Demonstration Artists & Trainers, OverDrive MPMs, other OverDrive trainers and customers.
- Provide training to end operators the use of Ross Video Switchers
- Champion customer needs as applies to the OverDrive customer experience, notably operational features, roll-out and training methods as well as future feature requirements
- Liaise with key customers on OverDrive features
- Actively participate in Ross’ user forums and answer operational questions, lead key discussions and assist OverDrive users in getting the most out of their systems and providing a superior customer experience.
- Provide feedback to the OverDrive MPM & TPM on operation, features and roadmap
- Suggest enhanced features and help to prioritize customer features
- Participate in the review process for upcoming software feature lists and provide feedback

**Who you are**:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Post-secondary degree related to television broadcast or appropriate work experience
- Experience in the selling and marketing process for broadcast equipment is very useful
- Familiarity with key components used in broadcast electronics products
- Above average computer skills
- Knowledge of use of Ross Video products and a willingness to learn how to demonstrate these products
- Broad broadcast television systems experience an asset
- Post production or corporate video experience an asset
- Extensive experience and knowledge of OverDrive
- Knowledge of Ross Switchers
- Experience with online training
- Passionate about Ross Video broadcast equipment solutions
- Passionate about OverDrive and automated production control
- Strong interpersonal and observational skills
- Organized and very detail oriented
- Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
- Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
- Self-starter, quick learner and able to work under minimum supervision
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Past experience in providing product training required
