Internal Sales Associate

Hipster Lasers is a leader in the engraving industry, known for our unique coasters, cutting boards, and personalized items that capture the spirit of pop culture. With our roots in craftsmanship and a strong presence at various events—from local artisan fairs to national trade shows—we're looking to grow our team with the addition of an Internal Sales Associate (ISA) who brings a wealth of experience as a Brand Ambassador.
**Position Overview**:
As an ISA at Hipster Lasers, you'll be more than a salesperson; you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for driving sales both at events and behind the scenes. This role requires a blend of sales acumen and brand representation, where you'll engage directly with customers to share our story and products, while also working on sales strategies, customer relationship management, and market analysis to help expand our reach. If you have a knack for sales, a passion for pop culture, and a proven track record as a Brand Ambassador, you're the perfect fit for this role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a front-line brand representative at a variety of events, creating engaging and meaningful customer interactions.
- Drive sales through direct engagement, leveraging your brand ambassador experience to connect with customers on a deeper level.
- Play a key role in sales strategy sessions, contributing insights from customer interactions and market trends to help shape our approach.
- Manage customer relationships, following up on leads and inquiries to nurture potential sales opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and venues for our brand to explore.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and promotions.
- Participate in training and development sessions to continually refine your sales and customer service skills.
**Requirements**:
- Strong foundation in sales with significant experience as a Brand Ambassador, particularly in environments related to pop culture, crafts, or entertainment.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a strategic approach to sales and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and networking with a diverse audience.
- Organizational prowess, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible schedules, including weekends and some evenings.
- A passion for pop culture and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- High school diploma required; Ideally a university degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
