**Operations Supervisor, Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre**,

**Shift**:Day shift - 6am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday (with flexibility to work afternoon or overnight shifts for coverage purposes)

**Job Summary**:
As an Operations Supervisor for McKesson Distribution, you will use your leadership skills to drive a culture of excellence through execution of daily operational plans and strategies. You will lead by allocating resources, disseminating information to teammates, and ensuring compliance with key processes, all while achieving safety, quality, efficiency and financial KPI's.

In this dynamic, fast-paced role you will exercise strategic thinking, effective planning, and utilize your communication skills to motivate and inspire your team, driving a culture of excellence.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Execute Quality Assurance programs (GMP, CFIA, etc.)
- Ensure optimum shift productivity through communication and monitoring of KPI targets and results
- Support training and communication of SOPs to relevant employees as required
- Organize staff training and development including equipment operating safety procedures
- Monitor performance and conduct annual performance reviews and/ or performance improvement plans as required
- Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints and grievances
- Communicate safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws
- Support special projects and assignments
- Maintains communications with other departments with regard to any problem related to his/her sector
- Maintains excellent working environment focused on teamwork and open communication
- Support and promote engagement through the Employee Opinion Survey results
- Effective interpretation and facilitation of local collective agreement to foster relationship between management and the union
- Coordinate and leverage internal/ external business partners and units to achieve McKesson's vision of Customer First
- Employee Lean Six Sigma methodology to optimize operational processes
- Implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role; supply chain or distribution experience strongly preferred
- Post secondary education in Business/ Operations Management, Supply chain management or related field preferred
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
