The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for developing and expanding the overall relationship within assigned end user install base accounts, partner accounts, and facility management accounts. Through regular customer visits the Technical Sales Representative establishes and strengthens key relationships, develops/delivers presentation materials to illustrate their pains and to propose meaningful solutions. The Technical Sales Representative organizes internal resources appropriate for each customer opportunity and delivers solutions which exceed customer expectations. Ultimately, service revenue grows annually with increasing service contract and upgrade opportunities in both power and thermal segments of the business
Speaking fluent English and French both are required for this opportunity.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The Technical Sales Representative maintains a Sales Plan for each existing account and finds new opportunities and new clients.
- The Technical Sales Representative develops long term relationships as a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- The Technical Sales Representative negotiates Service opportunities, sells service contracts, warranties and replacement products for existing installed base while also bringing in other team members to find cross-selling opportunities.
- After securing the order the Technical Sales Representative manages the order to meet all customer and consultant requirements to maximize profitability to the office and company. As new company initiatives are created the Technical Sales Representative is responsible in supporting those initiatives to help the success of the company.
- The Technical Sales Representative provides forecast updates and manages pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Job Qualifications**:
- 3-5 years of experience in the field.
**Preferred Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Knowledge of service business, service contracts, and preventative maintenance business an asset.
- Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC principals, mechanics, and controls an asset.
- Proven sales and account management success in product or service sales in a similar industry an asset.
- Hunter sales mentality, self-directed and eager to win.
- Experience generating quotes, proposals, and negotiating skills required.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities is required along with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual French/English required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
**EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS**
- Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology.

- Frequent driving (car, van, truck)

Le représentant technico-commercial est chargé de développer et d'étendre les relations avec les utilisateurs finaux, les partenaires et les gestionnaires d'installations. En visitant régulièrement les clients, le représentant technico-commercial établit et renforce des relations clés, élabore et fournit des documents de présentation pour illustrer leurs difficultés et proposer des solutions pertinentes. Le représentant technico-commercial organise les ressources internes appropriées pour chaque possibilité de client et fournit des solutions qui dépassent les attentes des clients. En dernière instance, le chiffre d'affaires des services augmente chaque année grâce à l'accroissement des contrats de service et des possibilités de mise à niveau dans les segments électriques et thermiques de l'entreprise.
**LES RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Le représentant technico-commercial établit un plan de vente pour chaque compte existant et trouve de nouvelles opportunités et de nouveaux clients.
- Le représentant technico-commercial développe des relations à long terme en tant que conseiller de confiance auprès d'un portefeuille de clients en se mettant en relation avec les principaux dirigeants d'entreprise et les parties prenantes.
- Le représentant technico-commercial négocie des possibilités de service, vend des contrats de service, des garanties et des produits de remplacement pour la base installée existante tout en faisant appel à d'autres membres de l'équipe pour trouver des possibilités de vente croisée.
