- Full Time**Position Overview**:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, safety, and compliance of our various facilities locations. This role involves managing relationships with service providers, coordinating renovations and office updates, and ensuring all facilities run smoothly in adherence to rules and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hybrid Work Strategy: Manage remote and in-office work arrangements, optimizing office space usage
- Facilities Management: Oversee all activities for allocated sites, including lease logistics and improvements
- Building Maintenance: Conduct assessments to ensure well-maintained facilities
- Office Setup and Acquisitions: Assist in evaluating and setting up new office locations and acquisitions
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors
- Vendor Sourcing and Evaluation: Source new vendors through RFPs and evaluate their performance
- Contract Monitoring: Monitor service contract performance to ensure deliverables are met
- Project Management: Act as a project manager for new implementations, office moves, and acquisitions
- ESG Standards and Sustainability: Conduct site surveys and implement sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance
- Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets, review utility expenses, and manage leasehold improvements

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in facilities management, including vendor and contractor management
- Knowledge and understanding of ESG principles and practices
- Emergency preparedness and risk mitigation expertise
- Facility management certifications will be considered an asset

**Additional Requirements**:

- Excellent communication (oral and written), negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly developed sense of tact, discretion, and judgement in dealing with confidential, sensitive and/or delicate matters
- Ability to think proactively, critically and independently to make good decisions
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and committed to a high degree of accuracy. Must be able to gather, prioritize and analyze information skillfully
- Ability to easily make the needed connections between systems, processes, and individuals to facilitate change
- Ability to identify efficiencies and make suggestions for continuous growth and improvement with a commitment to excellence
- Possession or the eligibility to obtain a Canadian Government Level Security Clearance at the Secret level as well as a Controlled Goods Clearance
