Construction Office Administrator

**About Us**:
Sona Construction Limited, a distinguished General Contractor specializing in Commercial, Industrial, and Municipal Construction, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Office/Project Administrator to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Undertake diverse clerical tasks including photocopying, daily documentation, mailing, and meticulous filing to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide swift and precise administrative and clerical support to office personnel, fostering a seamless workflow.
- Execute administrative duties for the construction team, ensuring meticulous documentation and timely reporting.
- Perform a spectrum of administrative tasks to uphold the smooth functioning of the office environment.
- Extend support to the project manager and on-site staff for project-specific requirements, exhibiting flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Maintain an organized filing system for project correspondence, ensuring its accuracy and up-to-datedness.
- Prepare purchase orders and subcontractors’ documents for construction contracts.
- Maintain updated contact list of trade partners, suppliers, and vendors.
- Oversee the processing and submission of submittals, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Draft and submit Requests for Information (RFI)
- Track shop drawings, monitoring their creation, submission, review and approval status to ensure alignment with project specifications and timeline.

**Requirements**:
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a project administrator within the construction industry, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project dynamics.
- Exhibit superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for document preparation and proofreading.
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive under pressure, meeting deadlines with composure and assurance.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), leveraging technology to streamline administrative tasks.
- Showcase strong organizational prowess, coupled with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, ensuring operational efficiency.
**Job Type**: Full - Time
**Salary**: $20 - $28 per hour
