**About Us**: Gro-Pro Landscaping and Lawn Care Ltd has been providing landscaping, lawn care, lawn maintenance and snow and ice services to Waterloo Region for over 35 years. Our services include hardscaping, softscaping, lawn care programs, lawn maintenance and snow and ice maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate snow plows and other snow removal equipment to clear parking lots, and pathways.
- Respond promptly to snowfall and ice events, when notified.
- Ensure safe and efficient snow removal while adhering to company and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal equipment, including checking fluid levels and cleaning machinery.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials such as salt and sand.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational needs and safety concerns.
- Keep accurate records of hours worked and materials used.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid class G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery, preferably in snow removal.
- Ability to work long hours during winter storms, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**Requirements**:

- On call 24/7
- Own transportation to our yard (public transportation not available in our area 24/7).
- Ability to work on your own.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Ability to operate equipment in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.

**Benefits**:

- $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience.
- Seasonal snow bonus.
- On call compensation during forecasted snow events.
