The Project Manager position plays a critical role in supporting the effective and efficient development of new projects across all TMS cities. It plays a significant role in moving projects from inception into operation by supporting the analysis and assessment of all opportunities and providing project management leadership to project teams. These tasks are accomplished through effective communication in a collaborative environment with all the functional service and program areas for The Mustard Seed, as well as the management of external project stakeholder relationships.

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage and optimize all aspects of the project development lifecycle (integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk management, community and stakeholder engagement, reporting and documentation).
- Conduct research and feasibility assessments to support project development.
- Develop comprehensive project management plans, objectives and deadlines that align with The Mustard Seeds’ Strategic Plan.
- Manage project tasks and responsibilities, visit project sites, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor and document progress of projects, write and present reports to management on project performance.
- Manage changes to project scope, design, schedule and budget.
- Build and maintain positive rapport and effective relationships at all levels of the organization, government, approval bodies, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the procurement and contract administration of consultants and contractors.
- Work with Finance on reporting for project expenditures and payment of invoices.
- Work with legal counsel on facilitating project contracts, agreements, and resolving legal issues involving projects.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
- Other duties, as may be assigned

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ experience in the non-profit sector.
- Project Management certification an asset.
- Experience with the project management concepts, practices and procedures.
- Analytical capacity with high ability to research, plan and execute projects.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Salesforce and Financial Force is an asset.
- Demonstrated adaptability, team excellence, proactive and results-focused individual.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with stakeholder relations.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Ability to solve complex problems and respond quickly to change.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- This is a one-year maternity leave.
- Monday to Friday with the flexibility to accommodate evenings and weekends.
- Class 5 drivers license to accommodate regular and sporadic travel to various Mustard Seed locations.
- Employment Security Check is required.
