POSITION: Int/ Sr. Project/ Process Engineer

LOCATION: Calgary Head Office

TIME: F/T - In office.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Assist with project delivery in accordance with agreed completion dates and client specific deliverables.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead/ Assist the planning and implementation of project

· Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

· Define project tasks and resource requirements

· Develop project plans

· Assemble and coordinate project staff

· Manage project budget

· Plan and schedule project timelines

· Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

· Provide direction and support to project team

· Quality assurance

· Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

· Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

· Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

· Project evaluations and assessment of results

· Business development

TECHNICAL SKILLS

· PMP certificate is a bonus

NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS

· Critical thinking and problem solving skills

· Planning and organizing

· Strong communication and verbal skills

· Confident and the ability to positively influence and lead

· Adaptability to unexpected circumstances/issues

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

An undergraduate degree in planning, business, architecture, engineering or construction management.

Experience in the following is a plus:

EPCM

Conventional Oil and Gas, Pipelines

SAGD

Process Engineering

Facilities Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$75.00 per hour

Schedule:
