Job description - Product Coordinator

Accomsure ALE - Management Solutions is looking for a Product Coordinator to join our team operating in Canada with targeted growth in the U.S. marketplace.

Accomsure is a service provider to the insurance industry that arranges temporary accommodations across Canada for policyholders who have been displaced by an insurance claim (i.e. Fire, Water, Flood damage, etc.).

The Product Coordinator will report into the operations team, while also working closely with the claims team by supporting our service selling goals through a network of service providers. This role requires the ability to review rental requirements, source inventory to match requirements and negotiate favorable cost agreements. Requiring creative problem-solving strategies, overcoming objections, and account manage established partnerships.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), the skills and character to be persuasive and build rapport in service of our business partnerships and relationship management. The team member will assist in bridging the operations process with our partners and de-escalating situations to drive win-win client-service solutions.

Setting new standards and supporting other team members in best practices to upsell and negotiate winning terms and conditions across all our channels and mediums.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Liaison for the Claims Management team in service of expediting the policyholder’s accommodation requirements, specifically in the search, placement and paperwork (lease agreements) requirement. Placement requirements may include, but not limited to (Price, geo-location, pet friendly, parking, accessible, etc.)
- Facilitate daily accommodation/reservations using an established supplier inventory to match like & kind for long-term rental accommodations for policyholders. These accommodations must match requirements, and costs within policyholder’s ALE limits.
- Facilitate daily accommodation/reservations of supplier inventory for short-term/immediate accommodations for policyholders who have been displaced due to a property claim.
- Prioritize inventory selection from Accomsure’s preferred vendor/supplier’s list for all accommodations.
- Ability to negotiate with partners and landlords favorable off-market pricing strategies to optimize our Adjuster’s financial benefit and extend the ALE limits of the policyholder.
- Negotiate favorable billing terms and discounts with vendor payment services.
- De-escalate and drive solution service sales models to overcome challenges and obstacles for property matches in restricted catchment areas.
- Connect with policyholders and adjusters to effectively manage the search criteria meeting the policyholder requirements to expedite placement.
- Collection of invoices, receipts, folios on behalf of the policyholder’s accommodation to facilitate the vendor payment services process.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoices are received and sent to vendor payment services.
- Supporting a premium customer service experience model by connecting with policyholders and adjusters when required (prior, during, and post the duration of the accommodation)
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), French speaking not required but would be considered an asset.
- Experience in negotiations and property management considered an asset
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented individual
- Must be able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A high degree of professionalism in service of our principal partners (Property Adjusters), our mutual policyholders, and Accomsure’s network of suppliers.
- Proficient in online property searches, inventory management, and service-oriented customer experience
- Ability to negotiate, discussing optimal rental terms with landlords
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications (Specifically Excel), Google Workspace, and internal CRM software
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities to drive creative solutions in challenging circumstances for our policyholders who may be distressed during their claim

- Standard working hours (8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday)
- Ability to sit & work long hours from a desk location
- Weekend and evening support/problem escalation and solving as required.
