The position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga, ON office with the opportunity to work 3 days remotely per week.

Role Summary: As a Vendor Management Professional, you'll be leading the business development efforts for a named vendor(s) on the Core Technologies team. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing call-out campaigns, organizing meetings with customers and vendors, analyzing reports and trends, and managing inventory and pipelines. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is key to ensuring our goals align with organizational objectives, vendors and customers. By staying informed about industry trends and market dynamics and activities, you'll identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making. Regular performance tracking and reporting will be completed to assess the effectiveness of our initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work as a liaison between vendors and organization;
- Provides specialized consultative service and implementing, driving and maintaining vendor programs, marketing, and training; review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters;
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance;
- Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.

What you bring to the role:

- Typically requires a college diploma or degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of functional experience in business development.
- Entry-level professional individual contributor on a project or work team.
- Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
- Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
- Works on projects of limited scope and complexity.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Uses company standard policies and procedures to resolve issues in which answers can be readily obtained.
- Requires broad theoretical knowledge typically acquired from advanced education.
