Mobile Repair Technician

**Job description**
We are looking for an energetic and positive people-person, someone who enjoys serving customers with integrity and have an exposure/experience to repair electronic devices.
You will be required to complete repairs at the store as and when they come.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Under the supervision of the Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the **Smartphone Repair Technician **include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Diagnosing and performing repairs on various electronics i.e., computers, tablets, smartphones, game consoles, etc.
- Disassembly, rework/repair/component replacement, and reassembly of the devices;
- RF testing of devices after repair using industry leading R&S testers;
- Functional test of devices to ensure quality;
- Reporting repair actions into proprietary shop floor tracking system and complete work order in timely manner; and
**Minimum Requirements**
- Someone with 1-2 years of Cell Phone, iPad Repair (mainly iPhone and Samsung), and willingness to learn more skills to repair, communicate efficiently with customers Android device knowledge, circuit diagram knowledge;
- Troubleshooting skills;
- Must have basic soldering skills;
- ESD protection knowledge;
- Visual acuity to handle small parts;
- Must be flexible to work different schedules and able to work weekends.
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in electronics repair or a related field is preferred
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of electronic devices and their components
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in troubleshooting electronic devices
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals to aid in repair processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of devices
Work Location: In person
Job Location: Etobicoke and North York.
**Salary**: $16.55-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
