**Position**: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, Day Shift

**About Pegasus Aeronautics**:
Pegasus Aeronautics is the world leader in the hybrid gas/electric unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) space. Pegasus invents, designs, manufactures and sells hybrid gas/electric power units and platforms also referred to as drones. Power units and platforms offer game changing advantages including up to 5 hours of flight time, operability in extreme weather, and larger payloads. Applications include agriculture, climate monitoring, search and rescue, among others. Pegasus Aeronautics is located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada with customers worldwide.

**Role**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble electro-mechanical assemblies
- Follow SOPs to perform testing sequences on assembled products
- Assist engineers in the development of SOPs and drive continuous process improvements
- Troubleshoot and repair production assemblies & service customer returns
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Organize and maintain production component inventory
- Manage inventory and bill of materials (BOMs) and submit purchase requests to satisfy build requirements
- Perform routine in-bound quality inspection procedures to ensure suppliers are meeting specifications
- Complete final validation of assembled products

**Additional Tasks**:

- Working with wiring and harnesses including soldering, crimping, potting, etc.
- Machining components as required for fixtures, prototypes or reworks

**Required Qualifications**:

- Engineering Technician/Technologist college diploma from applicable mechanical related discipline or past equivalent work experience
- Mechanically inclined with knowledge/experience using hand/power tools (drill press, torque wrenches, dremel, crimpers, hot air rework, soldering, etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication, written and oral skills
- Ability to work with a cross-discipline engineering team
