We are looking for a dedicated and personable Automotive Service Representative to join our auto shop team. As an Automotive Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing in their vehicles for service or repairs. Your main goal will be to provide outstanding customer service and ensure that customers' needs are met efficiently and professionally.

**Responsibilities**:
Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive at the auto shop. Listen to their concerns and accurately document the vehicle's issues or required services.

Service Recommendations: Communicate effectively with customers to explain recommended services, repairs, and maintenance based on vehicle inspections and diagnostic results. Provide detailed explanations and answer any questions customers may have.

Cost Estimates: Prepare and present itemized cost estimates for repairs and services, ensuring transparency and clarity in all pricing.

Work Order Processing: Create and process work orders for approved services, ensuring that all required parts and resources are available to complete the job efficiently.

Service Status Updates: Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles' repairs or maintenance. Provide timely updates if any changes or additional services are needed.

Customer Follow-up: Contact customers after service completion to ensure their satisfaction and address any post-service concerns or feedback.

Coordination with Technicians: Collaborate with the automotive technicians to ensure a smooth workflow, and communicate any additional customer requests or concerns effectively.

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of automotive terminology and repair processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for order processing and record-keeping.
- Prior experience as an Automotive Service Representative or in a related customer service role is preferred.
- Valid G license

**Salary**: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
