**Purpose of the position**

The position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Ensuring clean and safe spaces are available to members of the public (turf management, debris removal, minor repairs on trails, sports fields, parks/playgrounds, skating rinks, boat launches, etc...).
- Performing seasonal installations, removals, and maintenance of County assets.
- Operating small to medium-sized equipment and performing pre-operational checks and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Following safety measures/initiatives as expected.
- Other duties as required.

To be successful in this position, you will come with:

- A minimum Grade 12 education
- Experience with maintaining parks and open spaces
- Experience operating small and medium-sized equipment
- A Class 5 Drivers License (Class 3 preferred)
- Update safety tickets are an asset
- Basic computer skills are required

**Position details**
- Salary range: $54,204.80 - $76,876.80
- This position is eligible for 3weeks vacation, a Sunlife Health/Dental plan (100% employer paid), and participation in the LAPP Pension Plan
- Full-time permanent position: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm), evening and weekends will be required on a rotational basis.
