**_Purpose of the position_**

The successful applicant will:

- Provide firefighting and rescue operations support in response to fires, disasters, and other emergency incidents.
- Attend at minimum 25 training events a year.

- Come to us with related training and experience with demonstrated passion to continue to develop in the firefighting field.
- Be able to act quickly and calmly in emergencies.
- Have good conflict resolution skills.
- Be well-developed in public relations skills.

- Salary starts at $18.58 and increases with years of service and training
- Casual position
- Hours: On call for days, evenings and weekends
