**Purpose of the position**
The position will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Overseeing the County's policies with respect to procurement, payables, inventory/assets, taxation & assessment, and other financial matters.
- Conducting research, liaising with, and providing guidance to all departments and external stakeholders.
- Managing the entire budget process, ensuring compliance.
- Managing the annual financial audit process and ensuring timely submissions to Municipal Affairs.
- Overseeing the operations of the ERP financial system and its relationship with other County systems and software solutions as needed.
- Providing support, leadership, performance management, and coaching to direct reports.
- Other duties as required.

To be successful in this position, you will come with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance or a related field.
- a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or actively enrolled in the program.
- minimum five (5) years of progressively senior experience in related positions, directly supervising staff.
- minimum three (3) years experience with an ERP (Serenic/Diamond/Great Plains/PeopleSoft, PerfectMind, Geoware) is an asset
- Previous municipal/government experience would be an asset.
- a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
**Position details**
- Salary range: $114,914.80 - $148,821.40 annually
- This position is eligible for 3weeks vacation, Management Days, a Sunlife Health/Dental plan (100% employer paid), and participation in the LAPP Pension Plan
- Full-time permanent position: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
