Implant Coordinator Assistant

Burlington, Canada CVOS Oral Surgery Full time

This position is responsible for assisting and executing the full scope of responsibilities of the Implant Coordinator position as set out in the job description and as determined by Manager of Patient Care and Support. This is a Full Time role and will be required to travel between offices.

Key Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Answering calls related to implant patients
- Booking patient appointments
- Ensuring patient charts are available as required
- Responsible for maintaining inventory/stock in each office as required
- Insurance - pull charts with Insurance requests, complete requests and send with appropriate info/radiograph’s where requested, field calls/queries from patients and Insurance companies
- Carrying out tasks related to failed implants including all required documentation and record keeping.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice
- Attend and participate in meetings
- Undergo training as required to develop skills and abilities
- Must maintain current BCLS
- Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct

Education and Qualifications
- Requires basic knowledge of Implant products, surgery and grafting.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well organized and disciplined manner of working

RN or CDA2 experience an asset
