City Fit Shop is Edmonton’s premier kids ninja/sports conditioning gym with a passion and love for adventure and fun. We are a close and committed community that help kids of all ages learn to embrace a fun and positive attitude towards fitness and physical literacy.

We are looking to add to our Kids Team As part of an exciting business, you can make a difference by helping kids meet their health, fitness, and performance goals while learning super fun ninja warrior/parkour skills as well. Whether your a certified fitness professional, a passionate athlete, a student, or just genuinely love kids this position may be for you.

**You must be 18 years or older for this position.**

City Fit Shop is currently looking for coaches to help develop and support our kids athletic programs. This includes Ninja Mini's (Ages 3-5), Ninja Kids (Ages 6-12), and Advanced Ninja Kids (Ages 9-14), as well as our kids sports conditioning programs including school bookings, small groups, and individual training.

Responsibilities include:

- Coaching kid's fitness classes and bookings from ages 2 to 15.
- Leading parties, summer day camps, and school bookings
- Connecting with parents to discuss kids progress, programming, or any questions or concerns they may have.
- Participate in the creation of lesson plans and games.
- Helping the front desk and helping with administrative duties.
- Cleaning up after activities and ensuring the gym stays clean and organized.
- Complete reports & relevant administration forms as required.
- Greeting customers and guests enthusiastically and positively.
- Responding to customer requests, inquiries and concerns.
- Leading gym tours.

Skills needed
- 18+ year old.
- A passion for fitness and kids (certifications and coaching experience an asset).
- First Aid/CPR.
- Vulnerable Sectors check.
- Dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic when working with children.
- Prior experience coaching kids.
- Good interpersonal skills, working in a team environment.
- Self-directed, with an ability to manage time effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
