We are seeking an Marketing and Administrative Assistant to support all aspects of helping the team achieve our grant proposal development and grant writing goals for our clients; also supporting aspects of marketing and communications. As a member of our team, you will contribute to development of our brand, and producing effective marketing content which results in increased sales. You will also contribute to working on projects that will help the company grow and support major events.

All work will occur in Mississauga, Ontario (located at 170 Ambassador Drive,

Mississauga). If public health guidelines discourage in-person gatherings in non
- essential workplaces, the position will offer the flexibility of working from home only for

this duration. Once restrictions are lifted, the position will shift to in-person at our

Mississauga location.

This is a part-time, contract position for four (4) months at fifteen (15) hours per week,

with the opportunity for part-time or contract employment after the term.

**Responsibilities**:

- Screen all incoming mail, and handle/pass onto suitable team members when

required, prioritizing the remainder for the President.
- Review and edit documents for the company’s internal purposes in the Microsoft

Suite Google Docs.
- Provide administrative support for the team as required for projects, major events

and more.
- Book and arrange meetings, conferences, resources, and online events.
- Assist and follow up with the team as needed.
- Prepare grant documentation and taking and distributing meeting minutes

(including action items).

- Manage the brand and visual identity.
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns in all media (e.g. online, interactive, print,

radio), as required, for all advertising initiatives.
- Manage the marketing elements for various channels: in-person, online, and

telephone.
- Coordinate design and production of advertising, print collateral, signage, website, and
- Develop and implement strategies that align with the latest trends in technology, social

media, and consumer behaviour.
- Assist in the recommendation, preparation, editing, and proofreading of various social

media communications entries.
- Liaise and/or consult with staff, as required, to identify and/or clarify social media

content, priorities, needs, goals, and issues, and to ensure that messaging goals are

clearly understood and translated into suitable social media content.

**Who you are**:

- The student needs to be enrolled in a Post-Secondary Publicly Funded Institution

in Canada at the time of placement.
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary school with classes starting in

September 2023.
- Experience or knowledge of grant writing, fundraising or prospect researching is

an asset.
- Exceptional writing, editing and research skills.
- Strong communication skills, and an excellent command of the English language.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; and Google Docs.
