Our escape games in the heart of the GTA’s most vibrant community of Mississauga and at the door steps of Oakville. At 5,500 square feet, TRAPPED Mississauga is a high end and a spacious facility that provides trending, hi-tech and innovative escape games for all levels of experience. We proud ourselves with our amazing games, superior customer experience, artworks and artifacts.

We rent our elegant space for special events including Birthday parties, corporate events and group events. We also provide several options for catering from best caterers and set up for corporate meetings. We also sell variety of mini escape games, board games, puzzles and branded garments.

Our customers are visiting from everywhere in the GTA, Ontario and across Canada, we even have many visitors from outside Canada. We are one of the major attractions in the escape room industry in the GTA.

We are seeking a talented and creative Marketing and Social Media Specialist to join our team at an exciting escape room business in Mississauga. As the Marketing and Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, managing our social media presence, and creating compelling content to engage our target audience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a passion for digital marketing and a flair for creativity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Manage and maintain social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Create and post captivating content on TikTok, ensuring a minimum of 3 to 5 videos daily.
- Craft daily posts on Instagram, including 4 to 6 stories, special event posts, contest updates, holiday-themed content, and other relevant breaks.
- Plan and schedule engaging Facebook posts and ads to promote our business and events.
- Share relevant updates and content on LinkedIn related to corporate events and industry trends.
- Regularly update and manage Twitter posts to keep our followers informed and engaged.
- Develop and curate content for our weekly newsletters and additional special event newsletters.
- Create and update content for brochures, packages, booking system, and website to ensure accurate and compelling information.
- Utilize tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar software to design visually appealing graphics and images.
- Monitor and respond to comments on social media accounts.
- Analyze data to measure the success of campaigns.
- Research trends in the industry and stay up-to-date with changes in social media platforms.
- Work with other team members to create content that aligns with company goals.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content creation and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar software.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging an audience.
- Knowledge of escape room industry or related entertainment businesses is a plus.
- Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred. University/ Collegue undergraduate students are welcomed.

**Salary**: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
