This position will be responsible for providing service support to all Western service depots, customers, and staff. The incumbent must ensure the facilitation of effective and efficient day-to-day customer service and administration of the parts and service/warranty depots' service function for Western Canada. The role will require administrative skills combined with a technical aptitude for diagnosing product use issues, warranty questions and returns, and repairing products, as well as handling modified orders.

The Western Service Tech will report directly to the National Service Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day administration in the service shop for in-house repairs and modified orders, warranty claim processing, general warranty administration, sales order and invoice processing for repairs (both warranty and charge-out repairs), and shop prioritization (once fully trained and oriented).
- Handling inquiries from Warranty/Service depots, end-users, and distributors on technical information, troubleshooting, quality issues, how-to issues related to Western Canada Parts & Service when the matter cannot be handled by the sales force.
- Responding to internal administrative matters and technical questions.
- Managing the overall paperwork flow in the department and ensuring that the daily workflow of repairs and modified orders is attended to in a timely manner.
- Communicating with the Parts and Service managers on workflow and field/product issues regularly with the Parts, Service, and Product Management team.
- Overseeing the Service area (cleanliness/organization).
- Taking care of modified orders and torque wrench testing, calibration, and repairs as required, processing and logging paperwork for torque wrench repairs and calibration.
- Coordinating any requirements to assist in product line testing and technical issues.
- Developing and conducting all material handling, Peakworks, and air tool service schools across Western Canada.
- Providing information to ISR's on simple product-related issues that they can relay to the customer.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous power equipment repair experience is preferred.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining organization.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills in Excel and Word.
- Neat writing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Calm and professional demeanor.
