Maritime Auto Parts is a local Nova Scotia business specializing in automotive vehicle and parts sales. We have been around since 1932 and continue to grow with a great team

In this role, you will be working with Maritime Auto, Fix Auto, Novus Glass and Tri-Star Towing to accomplish the duties listed below.

**This position will require but not limited to the following duties**:

- Liaison between accounting firm and business, coordinating monthly file boxes; pick up and return
- Oversee AP process and payments
- Monthly AR review
- Weekly payroll through ADP for all companies
- Monthly Inventory and Sales reports
- Oversee daily cash reports
- Payments for WCB, HST and IFTA
- Preparing monthly accounting packages and reports
- Vehicle dispatching for insurance contracts
- Assist in maintaining employee files
- Daily and monthly filing
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAGE accounting software considered an asset
- Experience with ADP payroll systems or similar
- Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous records maintenance skills.
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
