Our **Vocational Training Programs** are unique, and we stand out from other schools. We believe in traditional instructor-led training integrated with guided hands-on skills practice, and one-on-one support is always available. Technical skills are very important, and we also concentrate equally on communication and interpersonal skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Recruitment and Outreach**:
- Responding to all queries via walk-ins, referrals or general interest.
- Represent the college at community events, and other recruitment activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, and other external stakeholders.
**Admissions Counseling**:
- Provide comprehensive information about the college’s academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, and student services.
- Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their interests, academic background, and career goals.
**Application Review and Decision-Making**:
- Make admissions decisions based on established criteria and college policies.
- Communicate admissions decisions to applicants and provide feedback as necessary.
**Data Management and Reporting**:
- Utilize admissions software and databases to track and analyze data related to recruitment and admissions activities.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment and admissions metrics for review by the Director of Admissions.
**Collaboration and Professional Development**:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as financial aid and student services, to ensure a seamless admissions process.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in college admissions and higher education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions.
**Qualifications**:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or a related area preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using admissions software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for recruitment events and activities.
- Planning and participating in campus events such as, but not limited to, Open houses, Information Sessions, trade shows, fairs, booths etc.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
