The First Nations Tax Commission is seeking an organized, self-motivated experienced workshop coordinator to join our growing organization. As part of our education team, you will coordinator and manage workshops, including workshop materials, databases, collaborating with speakers, on-site logistics, and post event reporting. **Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of non-accredited education programming including workshops, from planning, setting timelines, determining resource needs, coordinating and compiling workshop materials, on site coordination, and post event reporting and follow-up
- Create and coordinate communication plans for workshops including digital marketing, website updates, internal updates and event messaging.
- Coordinate workshop agenda and activities including speakers and speaker information.
- Work with the Director of Education and other staff to develop and manage a calendar of non-accredited education programming
- Manage, update and maintain contact databases in accordance with policies
- Format presentations, materials and other documents in accordance with brand guides and templates
- Establish relationships with and communicate with vendors on the confirmation of venue details such as meeting or conference rooms, catering, transportation and other requirements.
- Incorporate evaluations and surveys into the planning cycle for the purposes of continuous improvement
- Coordinate workshop-related contracts and agreements
- Review workshops and feedback and implement recommendations for improvement
- Compile and retain workshop materials

**Job Requirements**
- A diploma in a related discipline such as communications, administration, training or adult education or equivalent education.
- 3-5 years of project or training management or education organization experience including managing complex events.
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in developing and delivering events in a First Nation environment would be considered an asset.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities and duties.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills

- Coordonner l’ordre du jour et les activités de l’atelier, y compris les conférenciers et les renseignements sur ceux-ci;
- Travailler en équipe avec le directeur de l’Éducation et d’autres membres du personnel pour élaborer et gérer un calendrier de la programmation en matière d’éducation non-accréditée;
- Gérer, mettre à jour et maintenir les bases de données sur les personnes-ressources conformément aux politiques;
