**About The Position**

**_Kitchen Staff_** at Olivia’s Garden

We are looking for like minded people to join our expanding kitchen, and for someone who is especially passionate about the food and beverage industry who is looking for a company to grow with.

We have a small rotating seasonal menu that takes inspiration from the local grown seasonal ingredients.

We take pride in the plating and presentation and really let all the ingredients shine.

**The Culture**

We are a small team at Olivia’s Garden, every effort we put into the drinks, the service and the experience is marked our names.

We’re not high-volume, but it does get busy sometimes. Weekends are where you’ll put your skills to the test.

We run the kitchen and bar with an ethic inspired by fine dining restaurants. Sourcing fantastic ingredients and striving for the highest quality in every detail, but focusing on creating a casual and comforting experience.

Our team is caring, creative and passionate about everything we do.

**The Role**

We cannot emphasize this enough, You have to really love making food.

We work as a team through the physical and creative process to create a cuisine and kitchen culture we are all proud of.

Everything we do is made from scratch, and includes all sauces, syrups, vinaigrettes, marinades and pickles.

**Responsibilities**

You will work closely with our Food & Beverage Director to ensure the kitchen is progressing in a way that aligns with our brand philosophy.
- Execution, organization and service of a light brunch menu with multiple dishes from _Fridays - Sundays._
- Working closely with our Food & Beverage Director to keep our standards maintained.
- Prep ingredients during the week and receive orders.
- Prep your Mise.
- Mise En Place of your station, keeping it clean and up to our standard.
- Complete downtime checklists and ensure opening and closing duties are fully completed.

During your downtime, you will be able to test new recipes, and make the most out of your time here.

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Weekend availability
