**Position Overview**:
Are you passionate about empowering individuals to achieve stable, independent living? As a **Housing Support Worker**, you’ll play a crucial role in helping residents develop personalized case plans that pave the way for future housing stability. _A strong understanding of the _**_BC Residential Tenancy Act_**_ is essential in this role, as it equips you with the knowledge needed to guide clients effectively through the complexity of tenancy laws and regulations_**_._** By engaging positively and supportively with clients, you'll guide them in acquiring essential skills for securing and maintaining permanent accommodations. You'll also build strong relationships with community groups and landlords to ensure residents have access to vital supports and services. Join us in making a meaningful impact on people’s lives and helping them find their path to secure and sustainable housing.

**Qualifications**:
Key skills include **knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act** and **mental health issues**, excellent time management, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and communication abilities. **Proficiency in** **Microsoft Excel** is essential for managing data and tracking program outcomes effectively. Strong administrative abilities are also crucial for ensuring that all documentation and reporting requirements are met accurately and efficiently.

Additional requirements include a current **Level I First Aid certificate**, a **Class 5 BC Driver’s license**, and **access to a reliable vehicle**. Certification in Asbestos Abatement (or willingness to obtain it) is an asset.

This role requires the incumbent to undergo a Police Information Check (PIC), and a Vulnerable Sector Check by the Ministry of Justice.
