**Full-Time Client Service Representative**

Community Care Durham (CCD) is seeking a Full-Time Client Service Representative who will act as the first point of contact for existing and new CCD clients through inbound and outbound calls. The Client Service Representative maintains positive relationships with clients by addressing their service requests and supporting their overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Answers large volume of calls from existing clients and accepts their service requests;
- Communicates with clients and or their care partners to arrange service delivery**;**:

- Addresses client complaints and concerns related to service delivery and recommends solutions;
- Updates and enters client personal information into CCD database for existing clients (i.e., delivery instructions, mobility aids, dietary restrictions, etc.,)
- Collects and enters client referrals into CCD database and reports for service delivery;
- Communicates with coworkers and external agencies to complete client service delivery requests (i.e., service request changes, cancellations, complaints, etc.,);
- Monitors Meals on Wheels communication report to set up Meals on Wheels clients;
- Monitors client specialist funder plans (i.e., ODSP), and follows up with clients to continue service;
- Collects client payment information and program visits into CCD database for invoicing;
- Performs other duties as outlined in the Client Service Representative job description.

**Qualifications required**:

- Post-secondary education in Social Services, Gerontology, Community Supports, or related field;
- 1 year of experience in customer service-related role;
- Strong communication, attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Sensitivity to the needs of the frail elderly and persons with disabilities, including challenges in cognition;
- Must work in a safe manner and promote the health and safety of all staff, volunteers, clients and the community as outlined within CCD policies;
- Good working knowledge of the principles of community support services including community, mental health and gerontology, and volunteer management;
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check;
- Sensitivity to adults with needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health.

**Compensation**:Starting at $38,000 annually; three (3) weeks’ vacation per year of work (pro-rated to hours worked); 9 paid (including stat) holidays, 3 float days; health, insurance, and pension benefits when eligible.
- Pay will be commensurate based on education and experience
