Production Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead up to 30 direct reports, with personal touchpoints to each member at least twice/year for coaching and development
- Review and manage production schedules, setting capacity expectations, managing exceptions, ensure balanced demand, and expedite requests
- Reviewing and managing labor schedules to ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Leading the day-to-day activities of your production team - by presence and example - working alongside and holding regular toolbox talks to improve our processes for efficiency and safety
- Analyze current operations and make strategic suggestions for improvement
- Onboarding new team members
- Developing training and monitoring the development of team members
- Involve key shop members in Continuous Improvement projects, building a strong team culture
- Develop, Measure, and Report on KPIs
- Set, communicate, measure, and monitor benchmarks and _SMART_ goals to improve KPIs
- Serve on inter-departmental cross-functional teams to evaluate operations and policies
- Assist with writing and updating department procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Managing the joint health and safety committee
- Managing First Aid (Level 2 preferred), treatment, and reporting
- Manages Occupational Claims, Initial Reporting to Return To Work
- Managing team member payroll hours, time-off requests, and other labor scheduling duties
- Other duties as assigned
**Traits and Requirements**:
- Reliable and Punctual
- Min 5 years previous cabinet assembly experience required
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach, results-orientated and a problem solver who can handle multiple tasks
- Detail-orientation, with strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Professional attitude and excellent time management skills, with an ability to commit and meet objectives and responsibilities
- Team-player and able to work with different personalities and job-responsibilities
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
