**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a part-time (20 hours/week) Community Disability Worker in _**_Lacombe_**_ to work overnight sleep shifts._**

**_Shifts will be from 10:00pm - 8:00am, 2 days a week_**

**Job Summary**:
As an Overnight Community Disability Worker, you will provide a safe and supportive environment for adults with developmental disabilities. This includes routine safety checks of a residence, maintaining communication with partner homes, and providing assistance to individuals during overnight hours, as required.

Motivated, compassionate and organized, you will enthusiastically assist with daily living activities and supporting dignity, independence and empowerment. Open to learning new things, you want to become skilled in providing personal care, supporting behavioral challenges, helping with medical needs or implementing programs tailored to individual needs. You will be required to encourage independent living and provide support wherever it is needed.

This is a sleep night position in which you are required to spend the night in the home and assist the clients as needed.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
- A Diploma/Degree in Disability Services, Social Work or Human Services (or equivalent) is considered an asset
- Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, behavior, & mental health
- Criminal Record Check
- Child Intervention Record Check
