The Action Group is a non-profit organization that provides a range of services to people with developmental disabilities in Central Alberta including Lacombe, Red Deer and Stettler. Our staff engage individuals and inspire them to become leaders in their own lives while constantly seeking innovative solutions in our quest to provide exceptional service.

We are currently seeking a full-time HR Recruiter that will be responsible for recruiting to positions supporting people with developmental disabilities. Position is Mon-Fri 8-4pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Initial contact with applicants, attending job fairs, screening, scheduling interviews, interviewing, reference checks, following up on onboarding documentation, facilitating agency orientations. Administrative duties include: photocopying, filing and data input
- Potential for advancement

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education related to Human Resources
- ability to work independently while being a team player
- 3 years of experience in recruiting
- Highly organized with solid attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of individuals
- Strong computer and administrative skills (Microsoft Office, Access, Dynamics NAV)
- Driver’s License and vehicle

**Opportunities**:

- Rate of Pay: $24.21 per hour
- Extended benefits at 6 months
- RRSP matching at 2yrs

**Salary**: $24.21-$25.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
