Bradford West Gwillimbury, Canada Edukids Childcare Centre Full time

Assistant Educators required for busy licensed child care centre located in Bradford, West Gwillimbury. We currently have two positions available, a guaranteed full time split shift position (Monday to Friday) and a second position part time closing position.

Successful applicants will ensure operational and curriculum requirements are met and in compliance with all Ministry and organizational guidelines. To ensure the delivery of developmentally appropriate, play based programs, using the skills and knowledge related to early childhood education. Will effectively collaborate and communicate with other team members, families and outside agencies in and effort to support the needs of the children.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children in a child care setting (0-11 years)
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Current CPR C and Standard First Aid Certificate (if you do not possess a current CPR C/Standard First Aid, training will be provided for you)
- _RECE's_ are in Good Standing with the College of ECE
- Ability to communicate effectively and create relationships with families, team members and other professionals
- Able to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional disposition
- Must have the physical and emotional stamina to supervise children in a variety of settings including both indoor and outdoor spaces
- Flexible to adapt to a changing environment and remain positive and open.
- Able to work opening and closing shifts, willing to rotate shifts with other team members.
- Assist with greeting families, screening for COVID practices and escorting children to the classroom.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
