Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at ADVINCULA'S HOME CHILD CARE PROVIDER. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
  • Assisting with homework and educational activities
  • Engaging in play and recreational activities with children
  • Maintaining a clean and organized home environment
  • Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers
Responsibilities:

The Child Caregiver will be responsible for:

  • Assuming full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shopping for food and household supplies
  • Traveling with family on trips and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
  • Disciplining children according to the methods requested by parents
  • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organizing activities such as games and outings for children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Preparing infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervising and caring for children
  • Taking children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tending to the emotional well-being of children
  • Helping children with homework
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Reliability and punctuality
Working Conditions:

The Child Caregiver will work in a home-based setting, with occasional travel required. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Work a 30-hour per week schedule
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Be willing to relocate
