Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at ADVINCULA'S HOME CHILD CARE PROVIDER. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Engaging in activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Establishing a daily routine that includes rest periods, playtime, and educational activities
  • Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition of care
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and health information
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position. The work site environment is non-smoking, and staff accommodation is provided. The work setting is in the employer's home, and the successful candidate will be required to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
