We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.

Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage the Business Readiness function throughout the project lifecycle to ensure project design and construction meets business & operational needs and transitions from constructed facilities to safe, efficient, operational assets in a timely manner. Manage the function to ensure “best for business” transition planning and execution for its people and assets.

Demonstrates leadership with the highest professional and ethical standards ensuring all actions are transparent and in accordance with policies, standards and values:

- Mentors, develops and sustains capability of the technical teams; plays an active role in building and sustaining technical and strategic capability within the teams
- Develops and maintains an effective relationship with the site operations team (the customer) to manage the business / operational readiness processes.
- Creates opportunities for personnel to gain experience and for knowledge transfer, as part of a succession planning process for key technical roles
- Communicates effectively to ensure all personnel understand relevant deliverables that will be required to scope and manage specialist consultants in the delivery of aspects related to the project.

Leads the development and implementation of the Business / Operations Readines Execution Plan (OR PEP) as defined in the project specific Operational Readiness Management Plan (ORP), this includes:

- Roles and responsibilities
- Authority levels
- Controls
- KPI’s and Reporting
- Management of Change
- Risk management
- Document Management
- Communication & Meetings
- Quality Assurance

Further, the plan is to develop detailed scope and to execute in each of the following Focus Areas:

- Team framework and Organisation structure
- Health, safety, security, environment and community
- Legal, Risk and Compliance
- People, Culture, Human Resources
- Learning and development
- Business Process and IT and Commercial systems
- Maintenance
- Supply Chain, spares and Logistics
- Asset management
- Production

Evaluate the existing systems in place, and recommend any required to manage the scope of business readiness to the requirements of a project of this size and complexity.

Project systems
- MS Sharepoint, Premivera 6, ACONEX
- CHESS, Contruent, SAP

Prepare for transition of project documentation into future operational systems.

This includes Operational systems:

- SAP (maintenance, warehouse, purchasing)
- Enablon (was CHESS) (hazards, incidents, obligations, registers)
- Learning management system
- PCBC, Drawcontrol, and cave management systems
- Other Newmont requirements
- Budget, Cost & Governance_

Establishes and is accountable for Business Readiness execution within the budget defined as part of Business / Operational Readiness Plan within the overall project budget.
