This position provides an extremely wide variety of administrative support services, all of which
contribute to the efficient and professional operations of the Recruitment office. Within a
customer-service environment, the incumbent is responsible for Recruitment operations
support, organization, planning, data management, communication and general office
assistance. Flexibility of hours will be required from time to time in order to meet the
operational needs of the department.
This role may require availability during some evenings and weekends. Typical work hours will

**be scheduled during office hours**: weekdays from 8:30am and 4:30pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Data entry of recruitment contact cards
- Provide tours to prospective students
- Assist on-campus recruitment events: Open House, Info Nights, Campus Day at CUE, and

Counsellor Update.
- Provide support for special University-wide events when required.
- Assist with local off-campus events: presentations, booth fairs
- Replenish marketing materials on campus as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Must be a current Concordia University of Edmonton undergraduate student
- Knowledge of Concordia programs, admission requirements and admissions process
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Docs
- Demonstrate outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates initiative and motivation
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to function independently and within a team structure in an office environment
- Experience as a Concordia Student Ambassador is an asset
- Flexible schedule to accommodate welcome desk coverage and on and off campus event attendance
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check results
