**What You Will Do**:

- Responsible for day to day purchasing activities including suggested orders, purchase orders, expediting and reviewing invoices.
- Assist the Supply Chain team with purchasing and data entry.
- Source parts from various established international vendors as well as sourcing new international parts providers.
- Liaise between offshore and North American suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments, and customers.
- Work with the Pricing team to maintain and update price files from suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor container shipment status and schedule deliveries with freight forwarders, customs broker, and the warehouse team.
- Ensure materials are received on time from vendors.
- Hold vendors accountable for on time delivery, communication of delays and pricing.
- Provide analytics to help maintain inventory levels in consultation with branches, sales reps and corporate objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel. Prepare reports as necessary.
- Other related duties as required.

**What You Bring**:

- Min. 2 years import buying experience is a must. Preference will be given to those with experience/exposure to the Automotive aftermarket industry, preferably in the import aftermarket.
- Display strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
- Must be detail oriented and disciplined with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Take ownership of assigned import suppliers and deliver strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Diligent with maintaining and holding suppliers accountable for delivery dates.
- Is a self-motivated individual who can work well independently and as a part of a team to meet corporate objectives.
- Ability to work closely with Import Sales team in forecasting demand and researching new/replacement product lines.
